Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Springfield, IL. This role offers 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. You'll be caring for a patient census of approximately 21, providing vital support in a Level I trauma center at an acute care hospital. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, an active Illinois license (or in the process of obtaining one), and BLS certification. The assignment involves floating within the scope to meet department needs, managing blood products, peripheral lines, and PICC lines, along with adhering to strict isolation precautions. Don't worry about parking—there's a free permit provided during orientation. This assignment is perfect for experienced nurses seeking a dynamic environment with the flexibility of working every other weekend, and occasional on-call duties are not required.
