Job Description:

Step into a travel RN CVOR contract in Wichita, Kansas, supporting a busy cardiovascular operating room with open-heart cases and a focused team built for day-shift momentum. This assignment runs 10-hour days (40 hours per week) and stays firmly in the 7A–5P schedule—no night shift—while on-call is handled 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month. You’ll be working in a setting centered on cardiovascular procedures such as CABG and AVR, along with MVR and TAVR, with Meditech/CPN documentation.

If you have at least 1 year of current acute care CVOR RN experience, hold active Kansas RN licensure, and are BLS and ACLS certified, you’re set up to hit the ground running. Plus, this is a particularly appealing moment for travelers: the ECMO program is restarting, bringing added opportunity to engage with the evolving program direction. You’ll partner with a team that includes CVOR RNs and CSTs, maintaining a confident, team-player presence while helping keep the OR flow steady from start to finish.
