Job Description:

Join a travel CVOR Registered Nurse role supporting a short-term acute care teaching hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. This assignment is built around 4x10-hour day shifts (06:15–16:45) with rotating start times as needed, and a weekend call requirement as outlined by the unit’s call policy.

You’ll circulate as an RN and also scrub, with experience supporting cardiac and thoracic cases as well as vascular procedures. The service line work includes open and endovascular vascular procedures, transplant cases (liver, kidney, pancreas), and Whipple (pancreatic) procedures. On-call coverage is required as needed, with potential variation based on the 6-week schedule period and unit needs. Flexibility is expected, including floating within the service line as needed.

Requirements include 2 years of CVOR experience (Level 1 trauma facility experience preferred; 1 year may be considered), and BLS and ACLS. BSN is preferred. Pending licensure is accepted. The role does not offer block scheduling accommodations.

Weather:

Expect a mix of mild to warm days with occasional cooler spells and periods of rain. Humidity can rise, and evenings may feel cooler as conditions shift.
