Job Description:

Work as a Certified Surgical Technologist on contract in Washington, DC—supporting surgical cases with precision, preparedness, and a steady rhythm. You’ll arrive ready to set up supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for procedures, then stay focused on what the team needs throughout each case. From anticipating instrument needs during surgery to assisting with room setup and turnovers, this assignment is built around organized, procedure-specific support.

Key responsibilities include preparing for surgical procedures, anticipating needs while passing instruments, supporting the surgical team during cases, and completing case cleanup. You’ll also help with patient positioning, moving patients, and ensuring the room is reset and ready for the next case.

This role requires NBSTSA certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST), BLS certification, and 2 years of acute care experience. You must be located at least 50 miles from the facility.
