Job Description:

Step into a travel CT role at a Level I Trauma Center in Detroit, where your expertise in computerized tomography keeps diagnostics on track. This position focuses on performing CT radiological procedures and supporting general diagnostic radiology when needed—working with established protocols, imaging systems, and radiation safety practices to deliver high-quality study results.

You’ll review clinical information, prepare the procedure room, set up equipment, and perform CT scans for the body area being studied. The workflow includes administering intravenous contrast media (including power injectors) when indicated, monitoring for possible reactions, and following appropriate response procedures. You’ll also support the imaging process through PACS by resolving image exceptions, confirming image/series counts, and ensuring clean delivery; and through RIS by completing indexing and study timing. Documentation will be completed in the medical record and radiology information system to support clinical and billing functions.
