Job Description:

Join a travel nursing team in Susanville, California, delivering direct RN services in an acute care setting where your day is driven by assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. In this role, you’ll review patient history and physical information, monitor diagnostics and laboratory data, and promptly act on abnormal results by reporting to the appropriate physician(s) and team members. You’ll formulate and update individualized plans of care—including discharge planning—based on assessment findings and input from patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

Your work includes coordinating and delegating care activities, supervising licensed and non-licensed personnel when applicable, and ensuring continuity through clear, timely communication. You’ll document assessments, nursing interventions, and responses in the patient record according to policy, and you’ll evaluate progress toward goals while revising the plan of care as needs change.

Because this assignment focuses on RN-level nursing practice, you’ll be working with the full rhythm of acute care—organized shifts, focused handoffs, and the satisfaction of seeing care plans come to life from start to finish.
