Job Description:

Join a healthcare team in Louisville, KY as a Registered Nurse on a travel contract delivering safe, effective, and patient- and family-centered care. In this role, you’ll assess and reassess according to policy, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and monitor/document responses to clinical interventions. You’ll also coordinate and evaluate education tailored to patient and family needs, while stepping into leadership responsibilities—delegating to licensed and non-licensed staff, mentoring/precepting as needed, and participating in quality, safety, and service improvement efforts.

Schedule highlights include mids shifts (10a–10:30p) with call requirements, plus intermittent weekend call shifts (typically 2–4 single weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule period). This assignment emphasizes teamwork, evidence-based practice, and a Practice Governance framework—so you’ll experience both independent clinical decision-making and structured support from the unit.

Weather:

Expect a mix of comfortable days and cooler evenings with periodic rainfall. Conditions are generally mild, making it easy to balance time indoors with time outside.
