Job Description:

Work as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Med Surg / Neuroscience setting in St. Louis, Missouri, supporting patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions. This travel contract is built around night coverage (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) in a unit that serves neuro-surgical needs such as stroke, seizures, MS, and back/head/spinal neurological diagnoses or neurosurgery-related care. You’ll use the nursing process to manage your assigned responsibilities, coordinate with other departments, and help maintain a smooth, team-based workflow—while occasionally stepping into a Charge role when needed.

Required credentials include BLS and NIHSS, with a minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute care Med Surg and neuro experience. Float may be required within scope. The unit uses EPIC, and FIT testing will be required on site. No call is required for this position.

Contract specifics include 13 weeks, with weekly guaranteed hours of either 36 or 48 based on candidate request, and rotating weekend coverage (typically every other full weekend). Plan to work at least one major winter holiday (for example, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day).
