Job Description:

Join our travel RN team in Carbondale, IL, supporting a busy acute-care setting with a focused, 4x10-hour shift schedule plus on-call coverage as required. This assignment is ideal for a registered nurse who enjoys variety within cardiovascular and progressive care services, where each shift brings new assessments, coordinated planning, and timely clinical decisions.

In this role, you’ll assess and evaluate patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care with the multidisciplinary team, maintain complete and accurate medical records, and respond to changes in condition using sound nursing clinical judgment. You’ll also provide clear explanations and instructions to patients or the responsible person, support core measure responsibilities, and help foster a healthy workplace environment through professional, effective conflict management. A current Illinois RN license, CPR/BLS, and ACLS are required.

Expect a mix of mild and cool days with occasional breezes and changing cloud cover. Conditions are often comfortable, with the possibility of light rain and brisk evenings.
