Job Description:

Join Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER in Wichita as an OR RN specializing in Endoscopy procedures. This 13-week contract offers a consistent 8-hour daytime shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, providing an excellent opportunity to work in a small, fast-paced surgical unit with a friendly staff of 14. Your responsibilities will include assisting with urology, GYN, and other procedures, utilizing Meditech and CPN EMR systems. The unit values experienced OR RNs with at least one year of current acute care experience, and candidates with robotics, urology, or ortho backgrounds will be prioritized. Expect to be part of a dedicated team managing 4 ORs and 1 Endo suite on the 1st floor of the main building, with patient ratios typically 1:1 or 1:2. The role also requires participation in weekday call shifts and one weekend shift per month, ensuring a dynamic workweek.
