Job Description:

Join a full-service operating suite team in Albany, Georgia as an experienced professional supporting a high-volume schedule across 19 suites. This travel contract follows a 12-hour day shift structure, with weekly hours of 36.0 and an assignment lasting 17 weeks.

You’ll work alongside charge leadership that runs nurse management oversight on-site, with Meditech EMR. The role supports multiple service lines where you may contribute across a broad mix of cases, with the facility handling everything except major pediatrics and transplants (not a level 1 trauma center; functions as level 2). Expect variety including some ortho/neuro trauma and robotics, with no c-sections in the main OR.

Required credentials include BLS and ACLS. RN travelers should be prepared for weekend coverage about once per quarter and occasional holiday rotation with permanent staff. If call is assigned, general call averages about every 7th weekend with a 30-minute response time; specialty teams cover call nightly (ortho/neuro and cardio/thoracic), and you would only take call within your competency. RN scrubbing is not required but is preferred.
