Job Description:

Join a fast-paced surgical team as a travel RN for a 13-week contract in Ironwood, Michigan. This assignment supports an OR-centered workflow across pre-op, PACU, endoscopy, and circulating cases, giving you a varied daily mix—from preparing patients for procedure flow to managing the transitions that keep surgeries moving smoothly.

Shift structure is 10 hour days with variable start times, typically 0700–1730 (with occasional 0630 or 0800/0900 starts depending on cases). You’ll float where needed among multiple procedural areas and participate in call-back coverage 1–2 times per week from the end of shift until 0700 the next day. Weekend/holiday demands include occasional weekend call (Friday/Saturday, plus Sunday through Monday morning) with no holiday shifts—holiday call is required.

Expect strong circulating experience, with PACU experience preferred. The OR case mix is broad, including orthopedics (e.g., total knee/hip/shoulder, ORIFs, hip fractures), general surgery (lap appendectomy, lap cholecystectomy, lap hernia repair), endoscopy (EGD/colonoscopy, lesion removals), OB/GYN (hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, lap salpingectomy), ophthalmology (cataract removal), and podiatry (bunionectomy).
