Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Labor & Delivery travel contract in Kearney, Nebraska, where care happens right from the same space—mothers labor and deliver in private LDRP rooms, and newborns stay in bassinets in the mother’s room. This is a unit built around hands-on, family-centered routines like skin-to-skin contact and strong teamwork, including educators and lactation support who help patients through the full process.

You’ll work 12-hour day shifts with a 6-6 schedule, supporting laboring activities with an appropriate mix of circulating responsibilities (including C-section experience) and team-based workflows. The role includes weekend coverage every 3rd weekend (with potential flexibility to every other based on need) and participation in one major and one minor holiday each contract. Expect floor-specific orientation (typically 1–2 days) and occasional floating to support NICU feeder/grower needs only.

Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NRP, with FHM preferred. Strong IV skills are required, along with the ability to work confidently using OBIX/eMDR and centrally monitored telemetry systems.
