Job Description:

Step into a travel Surgical Technologist contract in Lincoln, Nebraska—supporting a 7-room surgical suite with a team-focused, scrub-first role. You’ll function in the scrub position by preparing, organizing, and anticipating instruments, supplies, and equipment to support safe, on-time case flow. Expect a mix that may include general (robotic and open), ortho (fractures and total joints), ENT (including pediatrics, thyroid/parathyroid, neck/ear/sinus, and related procedures), vascular (carotid, AAA, hybrid, and open), plus robotics experience with daVinci XI. You’ll also manage tissue and fluid specimens and cultures, assist with counts and case cart readiness, and help support smooth turnovers through accurate preparation and aseptic technique.

This assignment is built around a 12-hour day schedule, with potential call depending on surgical volumes and rotation. You may float to a West OR location (approximately 3 miles from East Campus) as needed. While orientation includes 12 hours of non-billable time, the work focuses on being ready for the case as it comes—organized, prepared, and focused from first setup through the end of your shift. Scrubs are provided (no shoes with holes).
