Job Description:

Work as a Surgical Technologist in Omaha, Nebraska, supporting a high-volume surgical program focused on neurosurgery, ENT, and laparoscopic-assisted procedures. This role runs on a day shift 4x10 schedule (07:00–17:00), with a possible night shift rotation. Your day will be centered on preparing and supporting OR case workflow for procedures such as anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, VP shunt insertion, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion (including ALIF and XLIF), kyphoplasty, as well as endoscopic sinus procedures and a full range of ENT cases including septoplasty/rhinoplasty and tracheostomy. Laparoscopic-assisted cases may also be included.

This assignment also includes call responsibilities: weeknight call averages 1–2 nights per week, and weekend call is required approximately every 4–5 weekends. Off-shifting may occur (1–3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week scheduling period, though it’s often not needed. Orientation is bi-weekly. Expect a busy OR schedule with approximately 30 rooms and 60–80 cases per day.

To qualify, you must have 2 years of Surgical Tech experience, with Level 1 Trauma experience highly preferred. Experience with general surgery, endo/laparoscopic, bariatrics, and neuro procedures is required. Oncology and ortho experience is highly preferred, and DaVinci experience is highly preferred. BLS is required. Scrubs are provided, and the facility is 100% nicotine-free. First-time travelers are not accepted.
