Job Description:

Work as an RN on a Medical-Surgical unit in Newport, Oregon—supporting the care of acutely ill adults and patients who require surgery (both emergent and elective). This contract is built around varied Med Surg shifts, giving you the opportunity to strengthen your peri-hospital workflow experience while working with a team focused on high standards of professional care.

On this assignment, you’ll be responsible for delivering nursing care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and maintaining a smooth, organized approach to daily priorities across a medical-surgical setting. The unit strongly encourages Medical-Surgical nursing specialty certification, and your work will reflect the pace and clinical focus this department is known for.

Requirements include a current, unencumbered Oregon RN license, AHA BLS (Healthcare Provider Level), and NIHSS. A comprehensive submission with a skills list, references, and all relevant licensure/certifications/credentials is valued by the hiring manager.
