Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse (RN) on a 13-week travel contract in Wausau, Wisconsin. In this Trauma Level II setting, you’ll support a wide variety of clinical needs across stroke, cardiac, neuro, respiratory, pediatrics, and geriatrics—working within a team that thrives on rapid assessment, clear documentation, and efficient care coordination.

The shift schedule is built around 12-hour nights, with variable start times (typically 0500–1700, 0900–2100, 1000–2200, or 1100–2300) and occasional flexibility to 1400–0200 or 1700–0500, plus PM shifts beginning at 11am or 2pm. You’ll chart in EPIC and use Pyxis medication dispensing as part of day-to-day workflow. This assignment may also include floating to nearby locations (Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley).

If you’re an experienced RN with Trauma Level II experience, TNCC and PALS (ARC or AHA), and a strong fit for independent, resilient work, this contract offers a chance to stay sharp, take on meaningful shifts, and keep momentum in a consistently active ED.
