Job Description:

Join a travel nursing team in Susanville, California, providing direct RN care for assigned patients within an acute care setting. In this role, you’ll assess physical and psychosocial needs, review histories and available diagnostic information, and develop and implement nursing plans of care that include discharge planning. Your day-to-day work includes coordinating with the multidisciplinary team, delegating and supervising licensed and non-licensed personnel as appropriate, and communicating patient status clearly to support continuity of care. You’ll also evaluate responses to interventions and teaching, update care plans based on patient progress, and document assessment, planning, implementation, and outcomes in the medical record.

This assignment follows a 12-hour day shift schedule, where your clinical judgment, organization, and accountability help keep care consistent and well-documented from start to finish—an experience that feels both structured and hands-on.
