Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Neuro ICU environment in Washington, DC as a Registered Nurse on a travel contract. You’ll work within a highly specialized unit focused on neurological monitoring and rapid response workflows, supporting day-to-night continuity across 12-hour shifts. This assignment offers a flexible schedule structure: 3x12 (day/night options 0700–19:30 and 1900–0730) or straight nights (19:00–07:30). During your shift, you’ll follow unit standards for neuro-focused assessment, rhythm interpretation requirements, and documentation in Cerner.

To be considered, you must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. You’ll also need DC RN licensure (ACLS and BLS required) and NIHSS certification will be accepted as pending, with the expectation to complete requirements as needed for the role. Weekend rotations are part of the schedule, and you should be prepared to float every other weekend within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
