Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced emergency nursing travel assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana, supporting care across a busy Emergency Department with an average daily volume of 165 patients. This role features a 12-hour nights shift schedule (36 hours per week), where you’ll deliver skilled ER nursing practice while working within a collaborative team model alongside physicians and a mix of experienced and newer nursing staff.

Your day-to-day will include EPIC charting (required) and responding to a wide range of medical complaints, including some trauma. The Randallia ED also includes an enclosed behavioral health unit staffed with nurses and techs trained in mental health care, and the department works closely with local partners including the Fort Wayne Police Department and Parkview Behavioral Health—making this assignment uniquely focused on interdisciplinary teamwork and variety in clinical presentations.

You’ll need at least 2 years of ER experience and a current Indiana RN license. BLS is required, with ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC (as listed) also required for this assignment. Orientation is built into the schedule with 8 non-billable orientation hours, and mandatory attendance is required for all 7 days of orientation (8-hour days during the first two weeks of onboarding).
