Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced, high-acuity CVICU Registered Nurse role in Minneapolis, Minnesota—working 3x12 day shifts (07:00–19:30) for a 12-week travel contract. This assignment centers on advanced hemodynamic care in a short-term acute care setting, where you’ll bring your experience in critical monitoring and specialized equipment support, including PA catheter interpretation and analysis.

Your work won’t be limited to one unit: you may be expected to float within the ICU community as needed across CVICU, Med/Surg ICU, and Neuro ICU. Weekend commitment is every other weekend. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS, and the role does not include on-call responsibilities.

What makes this contract especially unique is the scope of critical technology and procedures you may encounter—PA catheters, targeted temperature management, Ventilators, CRRT with Prismaflex, temporary pacemakers, Endotool for glucose monitoring, and ECMO support (preferred). Open to pending license candidates, and there are RTO expectations of ideally no more than 5 days.

Expect cool to mild temperatures with a mix of clear days and occasional clouds. Breezy conditions and light precipitation can occur, so layering is helpful throughout the week.
