Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse contract in Philadelphia offers a unique opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac intensive care setting. You will be responsible for monitoring postoperative heart surgery patients, including those with CABG and valve procedures, utilizing advanced techniques like CRRT/CVVHD and hemodynamic monitoring. The shift includes rotating 12-hour nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), with the possibility of floating to other adult ICUs or telemetry units when census demands. This role requires a BSN, at least two years of ICU experience, and proficiency with EPIC charting. Expect a schedule that includes every 3rd weekend and one holiday commitment, with no on-call duties. The daily work promises a challenging yet rewarding environment for skilled cardiac ICU nurses seeking a fulfilling assignment.
