Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse contract offers a chance to work in a specialized cardiac intensive care setting with a focus on post-operative open heart recovery. You’ll be responsible for monitoring ventilated patients with chest tubes, lumbar drains, and managing devices like Impella, IABP, and CRRT using Prismax. The role involves floating to various ICU units, PACU, and ED as needed, providing diverse and engaging experiences within a fast-paced environment. Expect to handle patients recovering from procedures such as CABG, MVR, AVR, or TAVR, with shifts running overnight for 12 hours. This assignment is crafted for nurses with at least two years of current CVICU experience who thrive on acute care and technical skill application.
