Job Description:

Step into a travel MRI Tech role supporting the Radiology and Cardiology imaging workflow at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This assignment is built around a weekend-focused schedule—3 shifts per week, Friday through Sunday, running 6:30p–7:00a—so you’ll have weekdays to recharge while keeping consistent, night-time momentum.

You’ll bring strong MRI capability with GE equipment experience, independently performing diagnostic imaging procedures and following established protocols for contrast administration. ARRT and ODH certification, along with AHA BLS, are required. You should also be comfortable coordinating patient flow and collaborating with the Radiology Department to keep imaging operations running smoothly.

Assignment uniqueness: weekend-night 3x12 structure, MRI work within a high-acuity radiology setting, and the expectation to be ready for unit safety fit-testing (N95 prior to HRRU unit work unless PAPR is offered/needed). Minimum 2 years’ large hospital experience is required (Level 1 preferred; Level 2 considered).

Weather:

Expect a mix of cool, crisp evenings and milder daytime temperatures, with the possibility of occasional rain. Nights can feel especially chilly, so planning for colder conditions is helpful.
