Job Description:

Step into a respiratory-focused travel contract supporting pediatrics and neuro diagnostics with night shift coverage in Baltimore. In this role, you’ll work across mixed age levels—covering NICU and PICU-focused respiratory needs while also being ready to handle adult responsibilities in assigned areas such as ER or other adult intensive care settings within your scope. The assignment is unique for its consistency and specialized equipment: jet high-frequency ventilation is common, with multiple jet ventilators often running at the same time, and you’ll operate with ventilators such as Maquet Servo i and Draeger V500 alongside modalities including oscillation and nitric oxide.

You’ll provide RRT services during 3x12-hour nights (19:00–07:30), working with an average census around 6–7 ventilated patients. The work is fast-paced and detail-driven—ideal for RRTs who are comfortable across all age groups and can confidently support critical respiratory therapy needs in NICU/PICU as well as adult units when assigned. (Just bring your “night-shift superpower” and your strongest peds/NICU skillset—this one leans heavily on it.)

Expect cool to mild temperatures with a mix of clouds and occasional showers. Evenings can feel crisp, so layering is a good idea.
