Job Description:

Join our travel team as a Registered Nurse for ICU work in Yakima, Washington, on a 12-hour nights schedule (1900–0730) with a second shift option (0700–1930). This assignment blends intensive unit care with hands-on experience supporting post-cath workflows, including TR bands and femoral access management. You’ll care for patients with conditions such as CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, CVA overflow, and diabetes-related needs, and you may assist with blood product administration and Bipap support.

What makes this role especially distinct: the medication and monitoring demands, including drips such as diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, and heparin; experience with chest tubes and wound vacs; performing dressing changes; and monitoring femoral arterial sheaths. Art line experience is preferred, and familiarity with Impella and/or IABP is a plus. Weekend rotation runs every other weekend, with no on-call requirement. Floating to Telemetry and select Med-Surg/Neurology-Medical areas may be required to support unit needs.

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; at least 1 completed travel assignment is not required for this order. Candidates will complete a SIMPLIFI Clinical Interview and unit final approval.
