Job Description:

Step into an emergency department registered nurse travel role in Greensboro, North Carolina—where your nights matter and your routine is built around consistent 12-hour shifts. This position runs 3x12s on nights (19:00–07:30), with 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks, plus holiday coverage as needed. No call is required, so you can focus fully on the shift at hand.

You’ll be working as an ER RN with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience; first-time travelers are welcome. Prior charge RN experience and Level 2 Trauma experience are preferred, and you’ll need core certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIH. CPI, PALS, and TNCC are preferred. EPIC experience is required, and all RNs must complete a Pass/Fail EKG exam regardless of specialty.

A unique part of this assignment is its clear, night-focused schedule and the expectation of being fully ready to start on time—so you experience the department flow from the first shift of your week.

Expect comfortable, mostly cool conditions with a mix of crisp evenings and mild daytime temperatures, along with occasional rain. Bring layers for fluctuating temps and breezy nights.
