Job Description:

Join a busy Mother/Baby/Postpartum unit as a NICU RN, where you'll be immersed in a specialized environment caring for newborns and mothers. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work 12-hour day shifts, providing ample opportunity to develop your skills in neonatal intensive care, triage, and evaluation. You'll be working in a 36-bed facility with a focus on Levels 1 through 3 cases, performing circulating duties in the OR and handling cases that require independent judgment and resilience. The assignment also involves floating to other units like Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Mukwonago, keeping the work varied and interesting. For a nurse who enjoys managing change and taking charge of complex neonatal situations, this role offers a rewarding experience without the demands of on-call responsibilities, though you can choose to pick up additional call shifts for extra income.
