Job Description:

Join as a Wound Care Registered Nurse in Anchorage for a 13-week contract working four 10-hour days per week, typically from 07:00 to 17:30. In this role, you'll focus on providing specialized wound management across a diverse patient population that includes adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. You'll be utilizing the Pyxis medication system and holding certifications such as ACLS, BLS, WCC, and WOCN—certifications preferred but not mandatory for first-time travelers. This assignment offers a chance to hone your wound care skills in a fast-paced setting with an average daily census of 145 patients. Expect to engage in hands-on wound treatments, assessments, and documentation, making a tangible difference in patient outcomes.
