Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital as an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of surgical procedures, supporting a busy operating room environment with weekday shifts from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm. This position offers a unique chance to work within a Level I trauma center that is both a Magnet and teaching hospital, immersing you in high-level surgical cases. Your responsibilities will focus on supporting perioperative activities, ensuring smooth transitions before, during, and after surgeries. The role requires at least one year of OR experience, BLS certification, and an active Illinois license or application in progress. No weekend shifts are involved, and floating within scope is rarely necessary, making this an excellent opportunity for focused, consistent work.
