Job Description:

Join a dedicated nursing team in Louisville for a 13-week, day shift contract working from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., three days a week. This role offers an opportunity to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on assessment, care planning, and teamwork. You'll be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring smooth operations within the unit. Expect a lively mix of clinical responsibilities, including performing assessments, developing care plans, and providing education to patients and families. Some call duties, including weekend and Friday night shifts, are part of the schedule, along with occasional evening call. This position demands a proactive nurse with at least two years of acute care experience, particularly in cardiac, vascular, or orthopedic settings, and proficiency with Epic. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, offering a fulfilling opportunity for experienced nurses to make a difference in a community-oriented healthcare setting.
