Job Description:

Join a dynamic ICU float team as a Critical Care Float Registered Nurse, working across ICU, Med/Surg, and ED units in Alamosa, Colorado. This role offers the chance to experience a variety of patient situations and hospital environments, with the flexibility of floating between units as needed. You'll be providing specialized care for ventilated patients, managing dysrhythmias, and performing procedures such as central lines and thoracentesis, all while adapting quickly to different clinical settings. The contract requires a seasoned traveler with at least two years of experience, comfortable with float responsibilities and working night shifts for 36 hours per week over 13 weeks. Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, and PALS, with NIH and TNCC preferred. The assignment is ideal for those who enjoy varied clinical challenges in a collaborative acute care setting.
