Job Description:

Join the Neuro ICU team at a leading healthcare facility in Wausau, Wisconsin, for a 13-week travel contract that offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced RN neuro specialists. This role involves 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), where you'll be responsible for performing neuro assessments, bedside ICU procedures, and managing patients with stroke, TBI, head injuries, and neurosurgical conditions. The unit, an 8-bed Neuro unit, provides a chance to work closely with neurosurgery and neurointerventional teams, including procedures like bolt and drain placements and ICP monitoring. Flexibility is key, as you'll float between neuro critical care and medical surgical ICU units, with a healthy dose of autonomy to complete assigned tasks independently. This assignment is perfect for resilient professionals with a minimum of two years experience, including bedside ICU skills and charting through EPIC, and a background in neuro or neuro ICU work.
