Job Description:

Step into a high-acuity Surgical ICU travel role in Wichita, Kansas, supporting patients who need close monitoring and advanced critical care resources. This position runs 12-hour nights (7P–7A), where you’ll collaborate with a streamlined night team of RNs, a charge nurse, and a patient care tech to manage ICU workflows across a busy surgical setting.

You’ll be working in an ICU/Surgical ICU environment equipped with specialized technology including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia therapy, and ECMO. Expect a mix of cases such as trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients, with common procedures and responsibilities that may include chest tubes, central lines, and medication drips.

To be considered, you must have at least 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience and hold ACLS and BLS, with NIH required. TNCC and prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities are preferred.
