Job Description:

This travel therapy assignment places you in a Level II Trauma Center in Montgomery, AL, where you'll work as a physical or occupational therapist in a busy acute care setting. Expect to evaluate and treat trauma, orthopedic, neuro, cardiac, post-op, ICU, and MedSurg patients, often handling caseloads of 10-12 per therapist across various hospital areas, including emergency department. The role involves performing initial evaluations, ongoing treatments, and collaborating with a team supported by CNA staff, receptionists, and charge nurses. You will be using Cerner/Powerchart electronic medical records and following a structured three-day orientation plus subsequent on-the-floor mentorship with Rehab Aides. This position offers a standard 8-hour day shift with a commitment of 40 hours weekly for 13 weeks, providing an engaging experience in a hospital that values adaptability and teamwork.
