Job Description:

Join an engaging 13-week contract as a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) Registered Nurse in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts (6:45 pm – 7:15 am), floating across approximately five different Med/Surg Intermediate and PCU units, including telemetry, neuro step-down, and cardiovascular departments. Your responsibilities will include interpreting dysrhythmias, managing cardiac monitoring, assisting with pre/post cardiac catheterizations, and providing care for patients with conditions like sepsis, stroke, COVID, and more. The position offers guaranteed three shifts per week, with flexibility to manage weekend requirements, including eight weekend shifts over a six-week schedule. It is a float pool position, giving you the chance to experience various units and expand your skill set while working within a supportive team environment. Holiday shifts and charge RN duties are as needed, making this an excellent opportunity for nurses with 1-2 years of experience seeking variety and professional growth.
