Job Description:

Join a vibrant, mixed acuity unit at a busy hospital in Potsdam, NY, as a PCU Registered Nurse. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work in a versatile environment that combines PCU, MS Tele, and MS patients, providing a comprehensive experience. You’ll be responsible for managing patients with diverse needs, including post-MI care, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV insulin protocols, and various surgical recoveries. The role emphasizes critical thinking and adaptability, with ratios adjusted by acuity and support from advanced equipment like EPIC and Pyxis. This isn’t just a job—it's a chance to sharpen your skills in a lively setting with data-driven protocols and a focus on safety. Night shifts run from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a commitment of 36 hours per week for 13 weeks. Experienced nurses with PCU/IMC backgrounds within the last three years are encouraged to apply. First-timers are welcome, provided you meet the experience criteria, and you must be located more than 50 miles away from the facility.
