Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract offers a stimulating opportunity to work in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Kentucky. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for circulating during cesarean sections, assisting with vaginal deliveries, and supporting various obstetric procedures. The role involves day shifts on a second-floor unit with 7 beds dedicated to L&D, alongside a level 2 NICU and nursery. Expect to handle patient ratios ranging from 2:1 in L&D to 6-8:1 in postpartum, with the chance to engage with advanced equipment like Alaris pumps and fetal monitors. This assignment is ideal for experienced practitioners comfortable in a busy hospital environment who thrive on teamwork and can demonstrate their skills in both routine and emergent obstetric situations.
