Job Description:

Join the team at Highpoint Health-Riverview in Carthage, TN, for a 13-week RN contract working 12-hour night shifts in the Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum units. This role offers the chance to gain experience across multiple specialties in a small hospital setting, where you'll assist in delivering and caring for moms and newborns during crucial moments. The assignment combines hands-on responsibilities with the opportunity to enjoy the scenic Cumberland River area, including water-based activities like fishing and boating. The unit's intimate size means you'll be working closely with a dedicated team, managing maternal patients with a patient ratio of 1:2, and participating in fetal monitoring and postpartum care. This contract requires prior certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NRP, and labor & delivery experience, making it ideal for experienced RNs looking to expand their expertise while enjoying a blend of professional challenge and local culture.
