Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position offers an engaging 13-week contract at a busy Level II NICU within a short-term acute care hospital. You will be responsible for caring for newborns from 32 weeks gestation and up, with a focus on supporting babies during critical early life stages. Your shift will be three 12-hour days, working from 07:00 to 19:30, allowing for a balanced work and personal life. The role emphasizes experience in L&D, postpartum, and C-Section recovery, with an environment that values swift decision-making and hands-on neonatal care. This setting provides a chance to hone skills specializing in neonatal stabilization, IV therapy, short-term intubation, and other critical procedures directly involving neonatal patients. Please note, local residents within 50 miles are ineligible for this travel assignment, and quick license processing is preferred.
