Job Description:

Join the team at Mission Hospital's Cardiac Intensive Care Unit in Asheville, NC, for a challenging and rewarding 13-week contract. This role is perfect for experienced ICU nurses with a passion for advanced cardiovascular care. You'll be performing high-acuity procedures such as cardioversions, central line insertions, chest tubes, and hemodynamic assessments, all while working a 12-hour day shift schedule. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including ventilators, telemetry, and CRRT machines. Expect to be actively involved in titration of vesicant medications, managing pressors, sedatives, and paralytics, and interpreting telemetry and PA catheter data. This assignment offers the chance to enhance your skills in a supportive environment with a dedicated team, utilizing their expertise in complex cardiac care—all in the vibrant city of Asheville.
