Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, specializing cardiovascular intensive care unit, caring for high acuity patients such as transplant recipients, ventricular assist device, and ECMO cases. Expect to float frequently within scope, including to different units and campuses, adapt to varying patient ratios, and be part of a comprehensive care team that includes techs, transport, swoop/paramedics, and occasionally LPNs. The role involves managing drips, utilizing EPIC charting, and maintaining patient safety in a high-demand environment. A minimum of two years of experience in a large urban hospital is required, with BLS certification and ACLS preferred. This assignment emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and experience with complex cardiovascular patients in a high-touch setting.
