Job Description:

Join UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, for an engaging 13-week contract as an RN or LPN in inpatient rehabilitation. This role involves providing care to adults with high-acuity needs, many of whom are referred from trauma centers, in a 50-bed facility specializing in stroke, brain, and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions. You will work 12-hour night shifts, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend and holiday rotations. The position demands quick thinking and the ability to jump into high-pressure situations—our nurses assist with tasks similar to those on medical-surgical units, including responding to call lights, helping C.N.A.s, and supporting patient safety. Experience with EPIC electronic health records is essential, along with a minimum of one year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or comparable settings, and current BLS certification. This contract offers a competitive weekly gross pay of approximately $1,254.54, providing a great opportunity to hone your skills and experience the vibrant community of Madison.
