Job Description:

Join Palomar Health Rehabilitation Institute in Escondido, CA, as a dedicated RN for a 13-week contract. This role involves providing specialized inpatient rehabilitation care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from strokes, traumatic injuries, neurological conditions, and orthopedic events. You'll work within a 52-bed facility, primarily on 12-hour day shifts from 7AM to 7:30PM, with a focus on delivering personalized nursing support in a fast-paced setting. Alongside clinical duties, you’ll navigate electronic health records using CERNER and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal recovery outcomes. No weekend calls are required, but flexibility to float within the unit is essential. This assignment offers a meaningful opportunity to make a tangible difference in patients' recovery journeys while experiencing the vibrant community of Escondido.
