Job Description:

Join UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, as a registered nurse or LPN for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role involves caring for high-acuity adult patients requiring inpatient rehabilitation following strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, or complex orthopedic trauma. The unit averages a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:7 and operates similarly to a medical-surgical environment, with staff expected to support C.N.As and respond to call lights as needed. Experience in inpatient rehab or med-surg is preferred, with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in skilled care settings. This assignment offers a unique chance to work within a specialized rehabilitation hospital, contributing to patients' recovery journeys in a facility accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF.
