Job Description:

Join a dedicated Med Surg/Ortho Trauma unit in Lewisville, Texas, for an engaging 13-week travel RN assignment. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), focusing on patient ambulation, wound care, and supporting a team of nurses and PCTs. Expect to utilize Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn VS machines as you assist patients on the 4th floor of a modern hospital building. This role emphasizes teamwork, with a positive department culture and staff who collaborate closely during busy shifts. The unit operates Meditech EMR and maintains patient ratios of approximately 1:6. Prior charge experience and preceptor skills are appreciated but not mandatory; BLS certification and at least two years of MS experience are required. Prepare for an environment where your clinical skills and proactive attitude will make a real difference.
