Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a contract at UCSF's Parnassus campus, offering a unique opportunity to float across multiple ICU departments, including emergency and post-anesthesia care units. The role involves rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, with the flexibility required to adapt to changing schedules across a four-week cycle. Candidates will be responsible for providing expert bedside care, managing complex equipment such as ECMO and IABP, and demonstrating a high proficiency in ICU protocols. This is not a unit-specific role, so readiness to float and handle diverse clinical situations is essential. The ideal candidate will hold a California RN license, BSN, and certifications in BLS and ACLS, along with a minimum of two years ICU experience. The position offers excellent pay, with a weekly gross of approximately $2,527.08, and requires a commitment of 36 hours per week over an initial 25-week period.
