Job Description:

This ICU RN contract places you in a mixed unit composed of MICU, SICU, CICU, and TICU pods, each with its unique challenges. You'll manage complex cases including surgical, medical, trauma, and cardiac patients, many with diagnoses like ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, and COVID-19. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week period, with patient ratios typically ranging from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity. Expect to perform ventilator management, hemodynamic line care, proning, and manage IV medications such as vasopressors and sedation. Epic experience is essential, and familiarity with Intensivist operations and critical care tools like Impella or CRRT is strongly preferred. This position demands a resilient, experienced RN who can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while occasionally floating to other adult units as needed.
