Job Description:

This 13-week travel healthcare assignment places you in the IMCU/PCU setting in Utica, NY, working 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. You'll be supporting adult patients with conditions like neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory issues including COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, and post-op recovery. The role involves managing advanced specialty equipment such as Temp pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, Bipap, Neptune, and Vapo vents that are often chronic and require expert intervention. Expect to float across a 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds, providing hands-on care for complex patient diagnoses. This role offers you the unique chance to work in a fast-paced environment where your experience with EMR systems like EPIC and your certification credentials—including current NY licensure and BLS, ACLS, NIHSS—are essential to success. The weekly gross pay averages $2,215.12, based on a 36-hour commitment per week. Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are encouraged to apply, and a current, comprehensive resume reflecting at least 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience is required to meet submission standards.
