Job Description:

Join our team in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) for a 13-week travel assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia. This role focuses on managing patients with moderate acuity, including cases like chest pain, arrhythmias, and post-procedure care. Nurse travelers will take on full patient assignments during 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, providing critical support for a unit that blends private and semi-private rooms. You'll work alongside experienced nurses, monitor TeleTech strips, titrate IV drips, and coordinate with respiratory and IV teams. Flexibility with weekends and holidays is required, with a structured schedule that includes four weekend shifts per four-week cycle. Expect a workload with patient ratios generally ranging from 1:4 to 1:6, with a focus on quality patient management in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
